Forge & Fury started with a simple conviction:
Men deserve better than generic “self-care.” We handcraft every bar using premium beef tallow—a renewable, traditional ingredient valued for creating dense bars with rich lather. Each bar is cured with patience and precision, resulting in a clean that feels raw, real, and built to last.
Forge & Fury began with a frustration that most men’s soaps had lost their soul—mass-produced, watered down, and stripped of character. We set out to build something that felt different. Every bar starts with beef tallow, a time-honored ingredient used by craftsmen long before “body wash” existed. Tallow gives our soap its backbone—dense, long-lasting, and naturally packed with nutrients your skin actually needs. It’s renewable, responsibly sourced, and refined with patience into a base that cleans without compromise.
We blend that base with rugged scents drawn from real life—campfires, garages, whiskey barrels, and rain on warm asphalt. Then we grind, cure, press, and hand finish every bar. No shortcuts. No filler. Just craftsmanship that endures.

What is the “Everything Bar”?
The Everything Bar is exactly what the name says — one bar that does the job of a whole shelf of bottles. Lather it up as shampoo, body wash, face wash, and hand soap, then reach for it again to scrub the day off after a shift in the shop. We build it hard and dense on purpose, so it holds its shape and lasts instead of turning to mush in a week; each one is 4.6 oz (132 g) of tallow-and-beer soap that works into a thick lather and rinses clean. After that it’s just a matter of picking your scent — bold profiles like Iron & Leather, Campfire & Whiskey, and Gunpowder & Tobacco, part of a lineup that runs about a dozen deep.
What is “Field Dressing”?
Field Dressing is our chapstick-style tallow balm stick — a leave-on balm, not a soap — built to ride in a pocket, a glovebox, or a work bag. When wind, cold, or a long day leaves your lips, face, or hands cracked and dried out, you just uncap it and swipe it on right where you need it. It warms and melts into the skin to seal in and help restore moisture, and it does it without the slick, greasy film a lot of balms leave behind. It comes in the same scent families as our bars, so it layers right in with the rest of your routine.
What is a “Shop Block”?
The Shop Block is a large moisturizing puck — a solid 2 oz leave-on tallow balm, not a soap — made to sit right out where you’ll actually reach for it. Keep it by the shower, the sink, or the workbench and grab it after you rinse off or wash up, when your skin is clean but tight and stripped. You smooth it over your hands and arms and it goes to work trapping and helping restore the moisture that hot water and hard scrubbing pull out. Think of it as the big brother to Field Dressing — same idea and the same scents, just sized for everyday use at home or in the shop instead of on the go.
Is there really beer in the soap?
Yes — and we mean real craft beer, not a splash for the label. It goes into every batch of our bars because the hops and the proteins from the malt actually do something for the soap: they give the lather more body and a richer, creamier feel against your skin. What the beer doesn’t do is stick around as a smell, so don’t worry about walking out of the shower smelling like a tap room. Each bar gets its scent from its own fragrance blend instead — everything from Charcoal & Cedar to Black Coffee & Bourbon.
Why beef tallow?
Because it’s what real soap was made from for generations, long before the big brands swapped it out for cheap detergents and fillers. Tallow is rendered beef fat, and it happens to be renewable, responsibly sourced, and something your skin gets along with — it builds a dense, hard bar that lasts, lathers rich, and cleans without leaving you dry and itchy afterward. It’s the backbone of everything we make, the bars and the balms alike. Simply put, if it was good enough to keep our grandfathers clean, it’s good enough for us.
Can I subscribe and save?
You can, and it’s the easiest way to make sure you never run out of the stuff you go through fastest. Set any product to ship automatically on the schedule that suits you: go monthly and you save 20% on every order, or every three months and you save 10%. The discount comes off on its own at checkout — there’s no code to remember — and it keeps applying to each delivery for as long as you stay subscribed. You stay in control the whole time, too, so you can skip a shipment, change the schedule, or cancel outright from your account whenever you want, no phone call required.
What is the Brotherhood?
The Brotherhood is how we look after the regulars, and the best part is there’s nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay into. Create an account and log in and you’re already in — that alone knocks 5% off every one-time order and gets you early access to new releases before they hit the shop. A couple of honest notes on the discount: it applies to one-time purchases, and it won’t stack on top of a subscription discount or a coupon code. That’s on purpose — we’d rather just make sure you always land on whichever deal saves you the most.
How do shipping and returns work?
We ship anywhere in the United States, and we don’t sit on orders — most of them are packed and out the door within about two business days, with live carrier rates shown at checkout so you only pay what shipping actually costs. If something isn’t right when it shows up, you’ve got 14 days from delivery to send unopened, unused product back for a refund. And if a box arrives damaged, defective, or just plain wrong, that one’s on us: email support@forgeandfury.co within 7 days and we’ll make it right and cover the return shipping. No runaround.
